Roundtable prices a trade the way a good manager argues one — the best player matters more than the total, roster spots are finite, and the person on the other end has their own problems. Here is what it is doing, in plain terms.

Every value is a market price, rebuilt continuously from trades actually completed in thousands of live leagues. Nobody sits down and decides a player is worth 9,600 — the market decides, the same way a share price is set. That is why it keeps working in November: it reprices when a rookie breaks out or a starter goes down, rather than clinging to where somebody was drafted in August.
A quarterback is worth roughly double in superflex. A tight end moves with TE premium. Receivers rise as more of them start. Roundtable reads your scoring, starting slots, bench depth and IR rules straight off your league and re-prices everyone against your rules before it grades anything.
You cannot start everybody. The best player in a deal is worth more than the same points scattered across several bodies, so buying the best asset costs more than the raw totals suggest — and the more ways the return is split, the more it costs. That premium scales with how scarce studs are in your particular league: deeper lineups and shallower benches push it up, shallow leagues pull it down. You can see the exact figure on the table, and switch it off if your league does not think that way.
Every extra body in a package eats a roster spot, and a fourth starting-calibre receiver when you start three is mostly decoration. Both get priced. So does injury: a player your league can legally stash on IR costs you less to hold than one who occupies a bench spot doing nothing.
Market value is only half the question. Roundtable rebuilds each side's best legal starting lineup before and after the trade, so a deal that raises your total but never leaves your bench is graded for what it is.
The Assistant prices what a specific owner needs, not what a spreadsheet says is fair. Is the player locked into their lineup, or are they four deep at that position? Is his market climbing — because owners hold winners — or sliding, which is when a window opens? Has he just gone off, or gone quiet? Which starting slots are they weakest at, so a package that plugs a hole reads better than one that only adds points? That is what turns "fair" into "sent".
It will not tell you who is going to score on Sunday, and it does not read injury reports or beat writers. It reads what the trade market did about that news, which is usually faster and always less breathless. Acceptance odds are a model's estimate, not a promise — some managers will not trade with you no matter what the numbers say. And a value that looks wrong to you may well be wrong: the market is a crowd, and crowds are late on rookies. Use it to argue better, not to stop thinking.
